Erin Moroni
Hi Everyone! Welcome to Funny Moms!!!! My name is Erin Moroni. I am a stay-at-mall mom of three daughters. I am a married to a dentist, Mike, who hates dogs which is unfortunate since I hoard them, generally of the puppy mill variety. I currently have three jacked up dogs, our latest addition being a Yorkie with a drinking problem.
I graduated with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Colorado State University, so I am totally qualified to give you advice on marriage and children. However, you should probably continue taking your antidepressants on the off chance that my life does not make you feel better about yours. I do not anticipate this being a problem, considering I accidentally ruined a really expensive car with a dead chicken amongst other miscellaneous things.
Five years ago, my house was clean, my kids wore clothes that matched, I pretended to be happy all the time, avoided conflict at all costs and made casseroles. I played an extremely convincing role of “the perfect woman.” Upon reflection, I was pretty much spectacular.
Unfortunately, this shit show eventually started to wear on me and I became wrought with constant anxiety and depression as I struggled to maintain my facade. I ultimately decided to seek help right before I started ironing my sheets and scrapbooking. Therapy was not pleasant at first but like a good boob job, rendered fabulous results. I slowly loosened my grip on life and started having fun being alive. A LOT of fun.
I began writing a blog,http://www.erinsays.com, and now spend my time basking in the absolute hilarity of being a woman, wife, mother, friend, sister and daughter, while unintentionally offending a plethora of ultra-religious people. I am thrilled to be co-hosting with Katie on Funny Moms and CANNOT wait to hear what all you freakshows have to say because laughing is my second favorite thing to do.
